About South Side Elementary School

SSES is located on High Street, just a couple of blocks off of Peterboro Street. South Side houses third and fourth graders with a total population is just shy of 200 students.

We are very fortunate to have wonderful students, a caring and dedicated professional staff and supportive parents who work together to create a positive learning community. We are also thankful for our very active and generous PTA that provides countless resources and opportunities for our P-3 population. We strive to create safe, comfortable teaching and learning environments where children feel they belong and where academic, social and emotional needs can be addressed.
